The diverse group of volunteers who created this toolkit did so based on their own experiences and the direct application of these recommendations within the VC, pre-IPO and publicly traded biotech worlds. They themselves are members of underrepresented groups and/or allies. They are committed to increasing diversity in our industry and know that small efforts early on can lead to BIIG impact down the road as seed stage companies strive to not only differentiate themselves but to also set the tone and foundation for the culture and values of their organization from day one.
